Daft Punk To Perform With Stevie Wonder, Nile Rogers and Pharrell At The Grammy Awards

As we announced in an article last year, Daft Punk will be performing at this year's 56th Grammy Awards and, with it being the French duo's first live performance since the release of "Random Access Memories," we always knew they would come up with something special, and it turns out that they did not fail us.

It was announced that performing on stage with them will be Stevie Wonder, Pharrell, Nile Rodgers as well as the Random Access Memories session players, Chris Caswell, Nathan East, Omar Hakim, and Paul Jackson Jr. At first we all thought that they would be performing "Get Lucky," but, with the addition of Stevie Wonder, we may see some other tracks added to the show. One can only hope!

Daft Punk are nominated for four Grammys, while "Random Access Memories" is up for five, including Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. In addition to being the duo's first live gig since their album's release, the awards show also marks their first televised performance since they played with Kanye West at the 2008 Grammys.

The Grammy Awards will air live on CBS on January 26th. The broadcast will also feature performances by Kendrick Lamar with Imagine Dragons, Pink with Fun's Nate Ruess and a "special Grammy moment" with Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and Blake Shelton.
