The third annual East Coast edition of Electric Daisy Carnival will be taking place under New York's electric sky over Memorial Day Weekend 2014 (May 24-25) and will be returning to its home at MetLife Stadium. Insomniac's head honcho confirmed yesterday that the festival will not be taking place at last year's location, Citifield, and will include an on site camping grounds.

"Tickets are on sale THIS Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 9am EST through Ticketmaster. The weekend festival will be a transformative celebration of music and art, featuring multiple stages, full-scale carnival rides and attractions, dozens of theatrical performers & pyrotechnics to light up the night sky! GA tix are tiered and start at $199 + fees followed by $225 and $234 so the sooner you get them the less they are."

The Owl, a fan favorite, will also be making its East Coast debut for the first time ever, upping the production quality to celebrate EDC NY's third birthday with a special backdrop designed for New York. So, now you have to choose, EDCNY or Mysteryland?
