Every year during the first week in December, roughly 50,000 people flock to Miami Beach for Art Basel, the art world's equivalent to New York Fashion Week. While nearly 260 galleries from 31 countries will showcase their contemporary and modern artwork during the four day stretch, Art Basel isn't just all artsy fartsy business; it's an excuse to escape from the wintery weather of the North East to the sunny paradise known as Miami Beach and well, party. The 12th annual Art Basel kicked off today in Miami Beach. We've so kindly put together a comprehensive guide of events that you simply can't miss for all you nightlife mavens out there. Look, Sip, Rave, Repeat.
